MOHA Research Center participated in the Tale of X Cities festival. The Festival was the result of a series of online seminars, workshops and meetings that began in March 2021 with the participation of residents and organizations from 12 cities in Northern Greece, from Alexandroupolis to Igoumenitsa.
The initial goal of the workshops was to familiarize the participants with the use of new technological means, and then to create works on local history, traditions and contemporary issues. At all stages, the participants had the close guidance of the project/ artistic team of the program and invited specialists, as well as the support of the collaborating organizations (seminars: https://www.commonlab.info/tale-of-x-cities—seminars.html).
The works of the participants and the actions of the collaborating organizations were presented in the final Festival that took place in the last days of November in natural spaces in all the participating cities, as well as online, on Sunday, November 21, in a live broadcast from a specially designed studio in Goethe-Institut Thessaloniki, and with live connections with the collaborating organizations in Alexandroupolis, Ioannina, Kavala and Komotini.
MOHA participates in the festival and displays its works at the Imaret and Mohammed Ali Museum.
