MOHA Research Center responded to the invitation of the Director of the Goethe-Institut Thessaloniki, Beate Koehler, and participates in the program that the institution organizes, “Tale of X Cities”. The project is implemented in collaboration with organizations from Northern Greece, under the supervision of ArtBOX Creative Arts Management and International Exhibition of Thessaloniki-Helexpo, within the Common Lab program.
The workshop is addressed at people of all ages and is conducted online. It focuses on topics related to local history, traditions and current issues, and provides training in the use of new information and communication technology media. It is implemented by a group of experts from different fields (literature, journalism, cinema, photography, cultural management) who provide theoretical and technical knowledge for telling -short and long- stories with different ways. Through the educational process, the workshop guides the participants in the creation of works that will be presented in a final Festival in summer 2021, in physical space in the participating cities, as well as on the Internet – depending on the circumstances. Tale of X Cities, through the workshop and the final festival, brings together participants and organizations, creating a network of communities and organizations in the cities of Northern Greece.
