MOHA (Motivation of Heritage Affinities), recognized by the Greek state as a Research Center (Article 3 Law No 4310/2014), shares the belief that a peaceful coexistence of the people can mainly be achieved through the mutual recognition of common values and achievements, the study of social, economic and historical background of the past, while planning the present and the future with scientific and cultural criteria that fully respect the previous paths.

It is the only research center recognized by the Greek state as expert on the topic of Islamic secular culture and civilization, and among the few in Europe. ΜΟΗΑ’s research feeds into its programming, that aims to create impact on society through creativity, participation and empowerment, in collaboration with academics, institutions, scientists, researchers and artists. The activities are dedicated to identifying needs and suggesting long-term, sustainable and inclusive solutions, based on the richness of cultures and inter-cultural respect.
